Newcomers, oldtimers work the steps

SA newcomers and oldtimers are invited to take part in a four-week overview and practical working of the 12 Steps, based on the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. The next sessions of these “12 Step Beginners Meetings” will be held starting the second Monday in March in Norcross. Sessions will alternate months between Buckhead and Norcross. Buckhead meetings will be in April, June, August, October; Norcross meetings will be in March, May, July, September.

These sessions will allow newcomers and others to work all 12 Steps over a four-week period. Newcomers should commit to attending all four meetings. A temporary sponsor/sharing partner will be assigned at the first meeting.

Atlanta SA Intergroup meetings

All Atlanta-area SA groups are invited to elect and send a representative to Intergroup. Several groups have already done so.

Anyone can attend Intergroup, but only Intergroup officers and those representatives elected by their individual groups can vote. Each group can send a representative. Length of sobriety and term of service is up to each group.

Meetings are held on the third Sunday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 5575 Peachtree Parkway, NW, Norcross, GA 30092.
